Diode Arrays will be hundreds (of watts/sq. in.) times cheaper than other energy sources after some production refinement. Diode arrays will probably proliferate in individual appliances.

For example, computers will not need power sockets or cords. Designers can restructure the architecture of circuit power delivery to where many micro power supplies feed many sections of the system. The internal power will be reliable and with little crosstalk. Diode Array powered computers will not overheat or need bulky batteries.

Some other examples, lighting panels will be installed wherever needed (fitted) bringing their own control wires. Heavy power using appliances will be in small networks. In tropical climates all the cooling for comfort will lead to surplus electricity which must be used. This surplus can be dumped outside or sent away.

Applications will be posted by Spring 2010.
